RICA refrigeration unit, model COMPACT 3000, stainless steel construction, single-phase.
Refrigeration units of this series are used with glycol at a temperature of +3/+5°C for the control and maintenance of wine fermentation temperature, and at a temperature of -8/-10°C for tartaric stabilisation of wines.
Its cooling capacity is suitable for controlling an overall capacity of approx. 70/50 hl for fermentation temperature control and temperature maintenance on tanks equipped with cooling jacket or cooling plate.
The compressor starts automatically according to the temperature of the water/glycol mixture inside the tank, by means of an electronic temperature controller. The temperature probe is positioned inside the glycol storage tank, which is built into the refrigeration unit.
Glycol circulation is carried out by means of a centrifugal electric pump installed inside the refrigeration unit.
The unit is equipped with an internal glycol storage tank, capacity 50 litres, fully insulated.
Electrical and mechanical safety devices are provided on both the gas and glycol circuits.
The electrical control and power panel is supplied in IP65 version and housed inside the unit.
Refrigerant gas: Freon R507.
