Description
Volumetric pump with elliptical rotor, designed for the decanting of grapes, pressed grape, dregs-must. The monoblock unit is built in stainless steel AISI 304. Pressure-pumping is by pressure and not by centrifugal force, thus avoiding the breaking of the stem structure, skins and fruit, obtaining an excellent quality of finished product. The pump can be supplied, on request, with various size hoppers and they are all fitted with a tilting hopper in order to carry out devatting of tanks whose height of the door is less than the loading hopper. The monoblock unit in build in stainless steel AISI 304. The product is conveyed by an Archimedean screw until to the inside of the pump, wich the action of an elliptical stainless steel rotor, by means of a separating valve, pushes it into the exit pipe. Transmission occurs by means of a sturdy low rev driving motor, guaranteeing a “service factor” that makes the motor-reduction gear practically eternal. The rotation speed of the ogive is reduced to a very minimum in order to guarantee a less stressful treatment of the raw material, 70 RPM.
